Yusen Logistics (Czech) places its trust in Kögel Trailer by purchasing intermodal trailers

The successful partnership between Yusen Logistics (Czech) and Kögel Trailer is based on the Japanese ‘Kaizen’ principle.

Kögel Trailer’s continuous improvements, project approach and delivering solutions to specific customers’ needs are what convinced Yusen Logistics – the globally active supply chain logistics company with Japanese roots that provides road and rail transport, air and ocean freight forwarding, warehousing, customs brokerage and intermodal/multi-modal transport and specialises in industries such as automotive, pharmaceutical, food, retail, aerospace, and consumer goods.

At the end of February, a delegation from Yusen Logistics (Czech) visited the Kögel plant in Burtenbach to inspect some of the completed units from a total of 50 trailers from the Kögel Mega Rail series ordered by Yusen Logistics (Czech). Of the 300 trailers in the Yusen Logistics fleet in the Czech Republic alone, roughly 80 percent is from Kögel. Dalibor Hofmann, Head of Contract Logistics at Yusen Logistics (Czech), is particularly impressed by the uncomplicated implementation of special customer requirements and by the outstanding intermodality of the Kögel Mega Rails.

Innovation as the key to success

The ideas for these innovations come largely from discussions that Yusen Logistics (Czech) has with its customers. They are then passed on to the Kögel Trailer team and, where possible, implemented directly.
