Mammoet supports Solar Team Twente in its quest to win the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge


Mammoet, the global leader in engineered heavy lifting and transport, is proud to announce its sponsorship of Solar Team Twente.

The team is aiming to create a highly innovative and efficient solar car to participate in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. The car will compete in a 3,000 kilometer solar race from Darwin to Adelaide in October 2019.

Solar Team Twente is a team of twenty enthusiastic and dedicated technical students at Twente Technical University. Their mission is to challenge the future of sustainable mobility by developing technologies and innovations for the efficient use of solar energy as a power source. The Solar Team Twente is supported by a strong network of innovative partners. Together, they are aiming to create a world-class example of automotive technology and innovation by building world’s fastest solar car.
